As you no doubt know, arthritis is a common problem in dogs, just as it is in humans. Especially the larger dogs suffer from injury and disease of their joints. Sadly, this can often start at a very young age. Aided by a firm grounding in the science in arthritis, Malcolm Ness has ensure that Croft Vets has kept up to date with all the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and we can do much more to help your pet cope with this debilitating disease more comfortably. We are able to perform state-of-the-art surgery in some conditions where necessary to slow the progress of the disease and, when things get too bad, we can even do total hip replacements. All the vets are kept up to speed with what is happening in the world of arthritis, so if you have any concerns, please contact your nearest Croft surgery. The receptionists will be able to advise you and make an appointment if necessary. Weight loss has an important role to play in the treatment of arthritis. Our receptionists and nurses fully understand how difficult this can be, especially when your pet cannot exercise as much as it used to because of its arthritis. They can help you and lend a sympathetic ear when you are having problems. Please click on a category in the left menu to see the other services we have to offer.
