As you no doubt know, arthritis is a common problem in dogs, just as it is in humans. Especially the larger dogs suffer from injury and disease of their joints. Sadly, this can often start at a very young age.

Aided by a firm grounding in the science in arthritis, Malcolm Ness has ensure that Croft Vets has kept up to date with all the latest advances in the diagnosis and treatment of arthritis and we can do much more to help your pet cope with this debilitating disease more comfortably.

We are able to perform state-of-the-art surgery in some conditions where necessary to slow the progress of the disease and, when things get too bad, we can even do total hip replacements.

Weight loss has an important role to play in the treatment of arthritis. Our receptionists and nurses fully understand how difficult this can be, especially when your pet cannot exercise as much as it used to because of its arthritis.
